Vintage Pinarello Bike Head Badge

from £30.00

Giovanni Pinarello was born in Catena di Villorba, Italy in 1922, the eighth of 12 brothers. At the age of 15, Giovanni began making bicycles at the factory of Paglianti. After a successful amateur career he turned professional in 1947, aged 25.

Borne out of the ‘Eroico’ (Heroic) era in cycling, Pinarello began crafting 100% handmade bikes in a small factory in Treviso in the 1960s. Still run by the Pinarello family, today they are synonymous with Team Sky/Ineos and their Grand Tour dominance.

The flagship race bike, the Dogma F10 has been ridden to multiple Grand Tour victories as well as one-day races such as Milan-San Remo.
